12-year-old Rodriquez secretly took ballet classes, without his parents knowing, and has now been admitted to the School for Young Talent (a division of the prestigious Royal Conservatoire in The Hague). His parents (his father works for a lorry distribution centre and is a soccer fan, his mother is unemployed) do not take a great interest in dance, and especially his father found it very hard at first to accept that Rodriquez was so into ballet. But now they support him in pursuing his passion. Martijn follows Rodriquez during ballet classes, at home, during an audition, his performance for Princess Beatrix, and during his meeting with Hans van Manen.
