Filled with contemporary hip-hop, r&b and soul, Flow is a realistic profile of today’s Dutch music scene and features a largely ethnic cast.

It’s not multicultural but the characters are recognisable, inspiring people with real dreams and ambitions, trying to make their way to a firm place in music history, with all the triumphs and successes but also the pain and failures that it entails.

Flow doesn’t exploit the archetypes of the hiphop and R&B world, but instead puts them at the forefront of a fascinating web of interwoven stories, in which exploitation itself is the issue under discussion.
