Carmen meets Borat wins Golden Centaur award
Carmen meets Borat has been awarded with the Golden Centaur for Best Film at the Message to Man Film Festival 2009 in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
The film, made by Mercedes Stalenhoef, produced by Pieter van Huystee Films and co-produced by the BBC and IKON television, is about a small village in a big universe. It shows how Carmen, a Romanian gypsy girl and her village change after the arrival of the filmmakers of ‘BORAT.
